Smart Humidifier with PCB Board Assembly Production
A startup home appliance brand aimed to launch a smart humidifier with a custom PCB made by us (for atomization control, LED display, app connectivity). Hongwei first made 20 3D-printed housings to test PCB fit, wire routing, and ventilation slot heat dissipation. Next, we did low-volume production (500 units) with injection-molded ABS housings, using automated PCB assembly to validate market fit and reliability. As demand grew, we scaled to mass production (20,000+ units/month), optimizing molds for speed and using robotic PCB insertion for quality—helping the humidifier become a top seller.
Custom Two-Color Plastic Housing for VR Remote Controllers
A consumer electronics brand needed two single-color VR remote housings: matte pure black (for anti-fingerprint/grip) and glossy pure white (for clean aesthetics). Hongwei first made 15 3D prototypes per color to test ergonomics, button alignment, and texture (adjusting black’s matte coating and white’s gloss for durability).
